Dr. Eric Dippel

Dr. Dippel was raised in the Quad Cities and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. He received his undergraduate degree with department honors in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University. He completed medical school and his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa. He completed his general fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. An advanced fellowship in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention was completed at the Ohio Heart Health Center and the University of Cincinnati. 
 
Dr. Dippel's research interests include: new medical devices, peripheral vascular intervention, critical limb ischemia, and adjunctive pharmacology. He has been a national and or local principle investigator in over 50 clinical trials. He has been an invited faculty and lectured at over 100 national and international meetings. He serves on the editorial board for Vascular Disease Management. In addition, Dr. Dippel has several patents for Medical Devices. 
 
Dr. Dippel purchased Physician's Laser Clinic and the Iowa Vein Clinic from a long time friend, Dr. Richard Sadler, in November of 2016. He renamed and expanded the Iowa Vein Clinic to become Vascular Institute of the Midwest. Dr. Dippel is interested in the newest in skin care trends and laser technology and is dedicated to keep Physician's Laser Clinic as the leader in such technology for the Quad Cities area.
